For years (literally since early 2006), I’ve been advising talented creative professionals this: When you do work that makes others sick with jealousy, you need to flaunt it. And this portfolio website for designer and typographer Simon Walker embodies this idea in the purest form. Walker himself is sort of hidden—you simply see his amazing work, presented in a single scrolling page. The top navigation consists only of links to social networks and a contact form. In fact, there isn’t even a hint of structural style or other normal web “stuff.” Walker creates killer work, and he needs to do nothing more than show it to you. It inspires me to focus more on the meat and less on the sizzle.
