Subtle Animation Supports Strong Web Design

This agency website makes interesting use of animation. The subtle effect is made part of the background. However, by placing the main logo and navigation in the bottom right,  they create a visual conundrum. Your instinct is to focus on the animation, but that’s not really the content. Your eye eventually reaches the navigation and logo, but not until after you have taken in the animation.

It’s a disruptive approach that almost shocks you into paying attention. This site breaks with the norm and stands out. Fortunately the site is also extremely simple, which also lends itself to useful.
