Blip.tv seeks a User Experience Designer in New York:

Growing NYC startup Blip.tv is looking for a User Experience Designer to create interfaces for new products and features across all digital platforms. The ideal candidate is an accomplished problem solver who can analyze product requirements and design great interfaces and experiences around them. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who takes pride in what they do. Blip.tv was and continues to be made by people who care deeply about their work.  We’re a fun-loving, friendly, down-to-earth bunch changing the face of entertainment.  It’s a rare crew, and we want you to be a part of it.

About Blip.tv:

Blip.tv is the place to discover the best in original web series from both professional and up-and-coming producers. Blip gives viewers free access to a wide variety of dramas and comedies, series about sports, videogames, food, fashion and more, and makes it easy to find what you want when you want it.

We work with thousands of web series producers, providing the services of scale they need to be successful and sustainable. These services include workflow automation, distribution, business development, marketing, PR and advertising sales. We do not take on content risk and do not directly fund series or take part in their production. Our job picks up once the show is ready for distribution.

The company currently syndicates series to iTunes, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, roku, Verizon FiOS, TiVo, Sony TVs and elsewhere.  Blip.tv delivers more than a billion video views per quarter and shares all advertising revenue with producers on a 50/50 basis.
