Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, XML, Flash and web design required. Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3 and knowledge of multiple content management systems and/or Hannon Hill’s Cascade Server preferred. 1-3 years web design/development experience in a similar industry such as ad agency or marketing firm preferred.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field required.

The Web Designer/Developer will consult with internal clients to conceptualize and produce web/online materials that effectively and creatively support the University’s brand. For example, the Belmont Website has recently been redesigned through the primary tier of pages. The web designer will be assisting our content manager in implementing the new design throughout secondary tiers and below. Other project examples include, but are not limited to, the design and development of web templates; email newsletters; flash/banner ads; landing pages; interactive media guides; e-brochures; WordPress blog templates; website redesign; site/page mock-ups; conversion of static designs to HTML; mobile websites and applications; microsites and specialty pages; and update of mobile site; among others.
