Job: Web Designer at National Gallery of Victoria

The National Gallery of Victoria seeks a Web Designer in Melbourne, Australia:

We are looking for a person with a special set of skills – a combination of visual and interaction design, plus the technical understanding required to bring the two together to create a special experience for our visitors.

Core skills required include HTML, CSS and Javascript, Flash (design, interaction and coding) and Photoshop and experience in MySource Matrix CMS relevant. Success will also depend on your ability to communicate ideas, collaborate, plan, and work both independently and collaboratively within the team and multiple stakeholders.

A genuine love of art and an understanding of the special imperatives and sensitivities of delivering cultural content to the public would be an advantage.
