Web Trends: Minimalist + Flat Web Design that Works

Minimalist, flat designs are all the rage; And those trends are finding their saturation point. In the wake of these trends we can find sites like this gem that don’t set out to be trendy, but simply well-designed. Yes, this website has hints of minimalism and tiny dabs of the flat design approach, but it also includes unique scrolling interactions, beautiful illustrations and an overall atypical layout. The end results are inspiring. The site is visually pleasing, functional and appeals to a very current aesthetic. It’s always great to see designers thinking for themselves. Well done, Anchor Travel!
